WelcomeTo the parishes of St Teresa of the Child Jesus and St Vincent De Paul
From our Parish Priest
Fr James Finan
St. Teresa’s is a warm, friendly church with lots of activities, and over the years we have been blessed with many dedicated Priests and lay-people. St. Teresa’s welcomes young people to be a part of all areas of Parish life. They participate as Readers, ministers of Holy Communion, Welcomers, Collectors, and the Choir.
The Church is situated on the busy A38, one of Bristol’s main arterial roads. Within the Grounds there is a Memorial Garden to past parishioners, and an Orchard, which was purchased from a neighbour in 1969. The Church has a large car park. Next to the Presbytery, is the old Church.
At the rear of the Church we have a very comfortable Parish Social Centre which is used for functions. It has a good well stocked bar open each evening 7pm-11pm, Skittle Alley and Hall which can be hired out for a variety of functions. Call 0117 9690834 for details of hire.
Please feel free to call into our Church. The church is usually open everyday from 8.30am until 6pm except on Mondays and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in St Teresa’s from 9am until 9.25am and St Vincent’s on a Friday from 8.30am – 8.55am. We would love to see you.
In 2011, a new Diocesan structure meant we are now working closely together with the Parish of St. Vincent’s De Paul in Southmead under the pastoral supervision of Fr. James Finan.
